GeFroce 320MB 8800 GTS

I'm wanting to buy this card for my new system but the power supply concerns me. I have a 600w power supply and apparently that will be fine if I want to upgrade to this card. However I noticed that the ard comes with power connectors or soemthing. I'm not sure about it as I don't know too much about graphics cards but am I right in thinking I have to set up additional power for the card with these connectors?

I'm affraid I couldn't tell you. It's a new PC that I'll be receiving tomorrow... I assume you asking me that means there are different methods for different PSU's then?

The power really comes down to how much amps the +12v rail/s are on your PSU.

The connectors I think you're referring to are the 6 pin ones (2x3)?

The PSU should have them on it

You plug one into the card lol

Plug them into the graphics card to provide additional power as the 8800 series is a powerful card and requires additonal juice the PCIe slot is not able to supply.
