I'm wanting to buy this card for my new system but the power supply concerns me. I have a 600w power supply and apparently that will be fine if I want to upgrade to this card. However I noticed that the ard comes with power connectors or soemthing. I'm not sure about it as I don't know too much about graphics cards but am I right in thinking I have to set up additional power for the card with these connectors?

Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks :)

I'm affraid I couldn't tell you. It's a new PC that I'll be receiving tomorrow... I assume you asking me that means there are different methods for different PSU's then?

The power really comes down to how much amps the +12v rail/s are on your PSU.

The connectors I think you're referring to are the 6 pin ones (2x3)?

EDIT: Just saw your post above.

Do you know what other parts are in the PC?

One of these 6 pin affairs is what you'll need:

I see... I THINK the card comes with them, (I'll have to double check though) what exactly do I do with these?

Plug them into the graphics card to provide additional power as the 8800 series is a powerful card and requires additonal juice the PCIe slot is not able to supply. :)
