GAME UK's ending its game trade-in service

There are such things as nuclear electromagnetic bombs. Guess he means that.

Any nuke puts out a pinch. It's one of the "side effects" though I suppose is good because it wipes out all comms.

/has spent far too long studying nuclear science.

it's not the emp you need to worry about in that situation if left alive your soon wish you weren't after 6 weeks at which point you would be.

however all nukes are emp able it's all to do with the airburst point, thou what this has to do with game ending it's trade in service i'm unsure didnt think it was so popular to spark ww3 thou lets be really honest here it's already started and if you dont think so, stop watching tv like any of us do.

i know a little since my father was a naval weapons engineer not really able to say more than that.

still i do hope that game sales aren't the defcon one cause as were already at 2 sometimes.

happy sunday folks :D

Your obsession with Fallout does not count as nuclear science ;)

Hahaha :D expert mate :D

No seriously all nukes emit a big F off “pinch “ as it’s called.

I think growing up the most terrifying thing to me was nukes. Like anything I am afraid of (well, was) I spent years reading about it all and doing research. Have learned *a lot* tbh. Like how the originals were implosion devices but they soon learned all you needed to do to pee the materials off enough was to use the gun barrel
Method and simply fire one lump into the other.

I’m no longer scared. It’s actually incredible tbh.

Same with like, spiders. I was terrified. So, I went out and got a cobalt tarantula. Phobia gone in about ten minutes. Same with snakes, I got a royal python and so on.

I’ve not hurt a spider in over 20 years.

But yeah seriously it’s well worth studying (nuclear fission etc) the guy known as Veritasium on YT did a long documentary called the Dragon’s Tail and it was on Prime.

Most everyone is deadly scared of one thing or another when a kid, mine was nukes also but for a more important reason being that my father was a specialist and would talk to me like an adult.

The key thing you learn as you get older is often one of two things, in your case alien you faced your fears to overcome them, in my case learned that being scared is pointless not only do you panic and make bad choices there isnt any reason to be scared as whatever it is that happens will have happened, were all going the same direction does it really matter how or when.

Still I'm not the least bit scared of game trade in's from any of these big companies like all massive company's they do fail in time for simply being stubborn and not moving with the times fast enough or just straight up being greedy.

wink wink nvidia cause there is always someone at some point in time that will do it better and cheaper and put you out of biz it's that simple for any company.

Only documentary i rate worth watching on nukes is Trinity and Beyond, I doubt your be able to see or even know who to look for but my father was at crossroads he's pretty old now lol.

Living close to an old naval base that couid be put back into use and an army base I have no worries of surviving a nuke war 4 minutes I could be standing in between both places, I've seen Threads I've no intention of any of my family surviving.
As for games going digital and an EMP I think the power outage would be a big problem for playing games

Yeah but for how long will you be able to survive down there? Surviving the nuclear blast is one thing, gotta worry about the radiation afterwards as well, which by looking at Chernobyl, still are insanely high.

You miss read my post I wouldn't survive not where I live less than 4 minutes from a naval base and army base

TBH that is the best way for it to be.

I keep seeing Youtubers building bunkers and etc. Why? what's the friggin point? why would you want to live after that amount of radioactive pollution? what sort of life would it be?

Nah, me? I would light a big old cigar and stand and watch the fireworks. I mean, it's the most expensive display you'll ever see !

Edit. Does make me laugh hard though. Imagine coming up and the world is full of those aholes hahahahahahaha :D

Talk about reap what you sow.

Watching Threads was a eye opener to knowing I wouldn't want to survive or anybody I cared about to survive better to let the fireball vapourize you

if you survived the 6 weeks after it would be the worst possible outcome, much like games bin full of fifa 2005's and barbie princess makeover games, if your survived that's the kind of games you have to look forward too lol
