If they think for one second I'm queuing with dirty console peasants they are sorely mistaken.. JOKING! all jokes, call off the hounds!

It's a great move and great to see the PC market coming back to the high street in a dedicated way (not PCWorld or Currys), although I shall always use OCUK online as I bet GAME don't give out Haribo with their orders.

Buying it from game adds atleast a £150 premium. Lower quality parts too.
Can you imagine the look on the poor guy at the desk the first "RMA" he gets! especially in Chesterfield... "I can do you a store credit"

On the plus side, you should be able to get a replacement right away, they should make sure they always check for dead pixels before releasing a monitor to the public though :p

it would be more like.

Customer: "hi i need to get this RMA on this"
Game Employee: "is that a vaccine for a disease?"
Customer: "no it stands for return merchandise authorization"
Game Employee: "are you taking the pi$$ out of me?"

Game is still going? its about time those thieving barstolls closed----take a 1 day old game back to them and see how much you get back for it lol then see it in stock for £5 cheaper than new.

So does this mean Caseking have bought Game out? I hope so, they really know how to get crap done. They've totally turned OCUK around.

This didn't half make me laugh

Game actually seems to be doing decently recently. Remember that they have bought Multiplay, who are the people behind insomnia.

OCUK get a lot from this deal, retail presence will not just sell their stuff but act as a advert for them to anyone who sees them. Remember that not many people would know who Overclockers UK are, but most people will know GAME.

Also this means that GAME has good relations with them, which might help them get more business or help at events big events.

I've had few issues with them. I admit, I don't use them often (maybe four times total) but each time I have pre ordered something it's always shown up on release day.

Ordering something and it being there is hardly impressive

Well what else should one expect when ordering from a company? a French Maid prepared to serve your every need?

All I was doing was offering a counter opinion to all of the criticism they have received in this thread. Criticism that IMO is unjust because I've never had a problem with them. Neither their prices, timing or delivery.

Which is something that admittedly doesn't happen very often because mostly when people post they are whining about something and not putting forward their happiness with products/services.
