A what I thought was dying company picking up one of the biggest albeit (in my experience) least reliable game server hosting companies.

rip multiplay. And Game.

The money must be entirely in the events though, they could bring their respective assets together to form something rather good. But then again they could squeeze out the other sponsors, try to make a 'GAME' festival and accelerate their own death.

I guess Opcapita have alot of money to dispose of since they are the new owners of the retail giant. I don't think there is much for them to do to recover their crisis as their reputation is still there.

You can blame companies like Ubisoft, Nintendo and EA for GAME's worsening situation as they refused to supply the retailer that could have allowed them to recover.

Good luck to them. Hopefully Multiplay works out for them and they can continue to thrive.
Although their shares took an absolute nose dive because they screwed up in the Black Friday discount day. It really hit them hard.
