Just bought this MB GA-X48-DQ6 for another new build.

It was highly recommended.

Hoping to get a few pic soon, its nothing fancy, only for video editing, no flashing bright lights or anything like that, but I'll try and get one or two pics for you to see and tell me where I went wrong Is there a handy way to upload them.

Thats it guys, I wanted to keep it as tidy as possible but i'm sure, could do better

I want to ask a few questions later please and it was you guys that help me through my first build.

Case. Lian-Li PC-A70B

MB. Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6

CPU. Q9550

HD. Seagate Barracuda 320GB. (one of 5 HDs mostly 500gb)

PSU. Corsair TX 650W

Kingston 4gb DDR2 800H (I had this ram)

Cooler. Noctua NH-U12P

Graphic. Gainward 6600GT (might change)

Sony/Plextor DVD drive

and my HDStorm plus video card (storm front bay)

I need to replace that dvd drive but its one i had for now

Great stuff.

Interesting to rear mount the drives to keep the cables at the back. Guess it's ok if u don't plan on messing about with them too often.

Thanks for that, yes, I didn't know what to do about that, and once there in they shouldn't need to be touched, and it took the cables to the back of the case

Would you change or do anything different to the build

I wouldn't mind seeing if something could be tweeted in the bios but I dont know what to improve on.
