G80 temps

Hello guys

I was just wondering what sort of temps peeps were getting @ idle and load on the reference cooler.

Ambient temp here atm is 31 deg C (7.00 pm)

idle - 58 deg C

load - 76 deg C

Sounds about right mate, especially for the heat.

Those G80's be hot

They sure are!

I have a fan blowing on to it and mine runs at about 70oC on load..

Mine idles @ 60, haven't looked at the load temps.

I think I might yank mine and redo all of the thermal pads with ASC and hit the core with AS5.

it dont matter man, the gfx card's can take up to 85+ on load, not that its recomended however

nVidia GPU's tend to thermal throttle at 120°C and the G80's are definitely ok at above 80°C

My dad Dropped a flat 7*C idle going from stock TIM to Ceramique. Dunno bout load. That was before it set too.
