Fancy seeing exactly how much bandwidth you can squeeze out of a Solid State Drive without taking up a slot? G.Skill has the answer.

i truly love the design of it, but wouldnt it be more fair to compare it to other PCIe SSD's instead of the regular sata SSD's or am i wrong?

The only other one we have done is the M6e matey and thats basically just an M.2 drive.

Cant compare it to PCIE drives if we have not done the testing to back it up. Theres always a period like this when things first come out

Want want want, my god why is it so expensive!

Also Thanks tom for starting up that work engine, have some more coffee to fuel it.

Time for a brew :)

EDIT! Dayyym, That's some fast SSD shiznit, but really!, Green PCBs.. at a £500 price bracket I'd expect perfection with it being Black.

I also thought this. I don't understand why any product that isn't "Budget" still uses a green PCB

I wonder what the longevity of this product is. I still see Crucial selling older boards of this type and there boards are sensitive to different motherboard setups. Many have failed. I hope this is a long-lasting product. :)

A moment of silence for our brothers on x99 that don't have enough lanes to support this and an SLI configuration. (provided they spend the least possible on the cpu :P )

Excellent review Tom!
The BEST Quote from this review lol
Sell your grandmother and get one, because if you don't hurry up we're going to come round and sell her ourselves.
Approved :D

ROFLMAO!

It's gonna take me an extra two months to buy the proper CPU for my X99 build, but it will be worth the wait.
Then, I have to save up for the Phoenix Blade 480GB drive.
