. you may know from before, my comp wont oc to 3ghz so atm im on 2.92 with 244x12, no divider on the ram and 3-3-3-6. still i heard that i should be getting around 20s, which means there's something wrong, no? please help :worship:

your saying your multiplier around 20? or in superpi? The lowest superpi for amd is 20s by kingpin. and ur gonna need a heck of cooling to get that low or even near it. Iv gotten under 3.1 Ghz, 27 seconds. 29 is more than fine man. and if your divider is could be 20 then you should beat kingpin, but im more than sure that it cant and is not that case. everything looks good =P

Not on the FX chips tbh

An FX60 should be able do 3GHz easy

I think that is a bit optimistic in reality. The FX60 very rarely got to 3gig, that's why most of us stuck with opty 165/170/175's. The FX60's would get to 2.9, anything much over that was a real problem unless you were under phase.

To the op, even if you a want 27's 1m pi run you will need to be over 3gig and be running some very good ram. Have a look at these.
