Front Display troubles

what a superb bit of kit the GT is, but I've a problem the blue display does not work ,it lights up the wires were placed the correct way around. Any advice mate as to what maybe the problem???

i note you said that you put them in "the correct way around" excuse my ignorance as im not sure if this is aplicable but bwr mentioned something in a diff thread about placing two of the wires else where? as i said this may be of absolutely no relevance to this issue at all, just trying to help out where i can

sounds like motherboard pinout & usb lead are probably slightly different but Ill let someone who has more info confirm that

CustomPC had USB pinout issue when they fitted their MachII!

Whatever you do mate do not fit the display the wrong way round - you will blow it up.

i was talking about the USB connection NOT the LCD.

the LCD is fitted only one way...you can clearly see that in its connectors.

I had to change the USB connectors wires a bit for the USB connection for the SOFTWARE to work.

with the mach 2 gt its FINE
