This may sound a litle petty but it has been p****** me off for a while now, me and my friends used to be close(group of us about 10) and they seem to single me out, such as, they all go out and i don't get asked, they go out to town for a night out, i just don't seem involved :/ As i said this may sounds petty, but anytime i ask them to do something they always have some excuse, but, if one of my other friends ask them to go out they go out with them but they don't go out when i ask them ?

May sounds a little childish but it's been annoying me for a few months now...

well it just signifies that they really arent your friends, you shouldnt hang out with them anymore.

They dont deserve people like you and they shouldt treat you like they do.

take it as an experience and move on.

if we knew why people are not nice, there'd be no bad people.

simmilar things have occured in my life aswell, its better to move on then dwell on it.

Yeah I have other friends too that are not so close that i know from college and stuff, just don't speak to them that often, but that's all gonna change

but dont worry there are nice people out there, its always good to expand your horizon, and increase your social network

these things happen, i had a group of friends who stopped talking to me when i put my head down a little bit for my GCSEs (stopped arguing with teachers etc) and tbh if you have friends like that they arent really worth having because if their going to do that shit to your face imagine what their going to do behind your back... make new friends and dont look back

There is another side of things.

As people grow up, there can be a bunch of you - all mates. What can tend to happen is that sections of the bunch get more matier than the rest.

This by no means, means that the original bunch aren't mates anymore, it's just how people evolve.

You'll find 2 or 3 will have girlfriends, whilst the other don't - there in itself becomes a new group of 4 or 6. Later on some will get married, some won't - there's another group.

Some may spend little or no time playing games, whilst others will maintain the latest consoles, latest games, whatever - there's another group.

You'll have a few that grow out of going to pubs/clubs as often, some won't, or do it later. Then to go full circle and 10 years later another group of the original will do it again.

Unless something is specifically said, I'd not read too much into it. Happens everywhere in different fashions.

Had this happened to me, when I was In the first few years of secondary School I was convinced I was "Proper Sollad" :L During this time I would go out and get drunk most weekends and from this I got quite a few close mates, But then when I realized that my selfishness was effecting my family I got my act together and stopped drinking and started trying in school, For a short time I was still talking etc with these friends but after a while they just didn't want anything to do with me so I just forgo about them and now I have a great bunch of new friends

A few of my mates said m brother was gay. I told them to apologise and they havent called me to hang out since. Outside my family i have less real friends than i have fingers. Its all about quality over quantity. If you have one true friend its worth 20 mates. Do you know what i mean

all of the people i used to consider mates are either in jail or on tag, they still speak to me but they are not mates by any stretch.

I abbandond them mainly because people who think they are better then you because they are "cooler" or they just dont have the balls to say why they ditched you to your face are just wankers, and i know i live in a place renound for producing robbers and knobheads lol.

btw i was the Geeky one, and to add to that i have red hair and glasses!

I just have a few close mates now, admittedly its not like it used to be when your a teenager out every day getting stoned mainly because of our better halfs but at least you know whats what.

Thanks guys, I have started talking to a few people I know from college and also a few people from around my area in which i live in. So far its been small talk and asking how things are and what games we like, but at least its a step forward. I have had no contact with my other "friends" in about a week now. Stuff them
