FreeSync Compatible Monitors

AMD's latest technology 'FreeSync' which reduces screen tearing on monitors by syncing both the AMD R-Series GPU and your monitor is being implemented into new monitors which are starting to become available now. A list of FreeSync compatible monitors is listed below.

FreeSync requires DisplayPort 1.2a compliant monitors that support DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync alongside a 2014 AMD APU and compatible AMD Radeon Series GPU such as the 280, 290 and 295x2 series and using the upcoming FreeSync enabled drivers.

This week AMD announced the expansion of the FreeSync ecosystem as technology partners including BenQ, LG Electronics, Nixeus, Samsung, and ViewSonic showcased their upcoming commercially available FreeSync-enabled displays at the 2015 International CES. The FreeSync compatible monitors are as follows:

Will you be purchasing a FreeSync monitor, as some of you who are members of the forum have AMD GPU's, whilst others have an Nvidia GPU, will you be making a purchase of a G-Sync Monitor or making the swap to AMD?

I heard that Benq will be releasing the same model but with a gsync module. This is what amd wants. Customers to see the real price difference!
