Free Vent server?

Does anybody know of a good free vent server my friends and i could use to talk while playing CS:S? Also it would be nice if we had our own channel.

Normally you have to pay, ive got one and I only pay £2.14 a month for a 10 slot server. Im with Pure Voice Communications.

capacity is only 8 ppl though

Yes but duuude, tyler doesn't care enough to pay money, and who cares, teamspeak is free and get the job done. Like yea vent is better, but it ain't free.

Sure that fancy restaurant is better, but it's more expensive than that pizza shop.

He can go vent if he wants, but for something free and just for use with your friends, why not go with ts.

Never used vent Teamspeak has always proven itself for the job in hand.

The last few nights on tim's vent I've been lagging.

In the match the other night tang called someone at mid. The person at mid killed me at T spawn before I heard tang say theres one rushing mid.

y spend £2 wen all he wants to do is chat to mates and ts does it perfectly well for free, we use Ts for clan matches and never have problems

I've used Teamspeak since I've needed voice comms and never had a problem with it. Tbh Vent annoys me and on a number of occasions my my output messes up for no reason and gives everyone a earache, Tims can't cope with too many users, and the 'blah blah joined' gets real irritating.

Lets put things in perspective shal we - £2 is a pint. Use vent for a year and you could go out for a session or 2 :beer:

I've never really noticed quality differences between the two (granted, I haven't used TS in a long time). Main reason I prefer vent is cause of the beep so I can tell whether my talking is being "broadcast" or not
