2 Art of Sound
A short film about the new 800 series that mixes beautiful film footage shot in London, Sussex and B&W cabinet factory in Agerbaek, Denmark with striking computer renderings.
3 University of Sound
John Bowers established B&W’s Research Institute at Steyningto ensure that creativity and scientific research could take place in an idealised environment. The many journalists and academics that have visited over its history dubbed it the ‘University of Sound’.
4 Passion for Music
Some of the world’s greatest performers and owners of B&W loudspeakers talk about their passion for music and sound. Each artist has provided a piece of music to accompany his/her interview.
5 Sound Mirrors
This piece was commissioned by B&W to explore the creative potential of multi-channel immersive music. A collaboration between Coldcut and Michael Price, it was recorded and mixed in Abbey Road Studios using 800 series throughout. (6.1 and stereo mix)
6 Music and Sound
This multi-channel music can be a truly absorbing experience. Some of B&W’s many friends in music industry have contributed these tracks to demonstrate the potential that this format holds (only available in DTS and DTS-ES soundtracks)
