hey all,

just got my self a contract phone online and i get a free gift a

LG M1917A <---- link

i think its a good snap up aswell! its not black itsw in silver which tbh im not fussed its got a dvi input which mean i can use it on my new build aswell OMFG im defo gunna have a 1337 pc, has anyone got one of these screen if so what are they like??

You lucky *******. Any chance of a link to that offer? i could do with a new phone and a new monitor...

As for the LG screens we use them in collage. Not quite as good looking phyisicly as the dells but the picture is just as good.

Well ive had a browze about. Those deals look good but upon reading the thing, you spending £630 on the lot over the 18 months.

Reped for the link none the less.

but think about it, i have 3 month line rental @ 99 p then after that its £35 PM and you get 600 mins and 500 texts which is not bad at all! and you get a free LCD that retails at£200! to me thats a cracker,

You still spend £527.97 over 18months if it's 15@£35 + 3@£0.99

Seems mental that people pay so much on pay monthly contracts :( and they pull people in by offering a free £130 (in pcw) monitor.

Not sure if you can change after so many months, but then your still on a 18month contract :(

You could take off what the phone would cost you aswell I guess (£100 unlocked), but it's still a lot of money.

My contract rocks - £25/month, 125mins, unlimited text & mms, and a free k800i (when they had litterally just hit the shelves).

18Months, but 18*25 is still only £450. So I could get a nice 19 for the difference :)

Me luffs being a student...

ham do u have friend or has overclocking and counter strike taken over your life?

I dont have text conversations. I text to let people know things eg 'im on the way', then talk in person or via something free. And just dont bother phoning.

I tend to phone a lot but like you hate texting for no reason other than to cost me 12p per time

there is a loop hole in the uk law regarding 18 months contracts, you can actually get out of them at 12 months.

it was a friend who was telling me, she works for the carphone warehouse, i know what your thinking, she must be a muppet, trust me, she isnt :p

I'l ask her and get a little more info from her.

EDIT: just had a quick google, but could only find the ones where you have to pay a cancelation fee. I will report back!
