Frame Rates

Hi All,

Just need some advice on frame rates.....I'm playing wow with settings on ultra and v-sync turned off and my frame rates in raids is 350fps...

Is this dangerous for monitor and should I sync it to my monitors fresh rate? Please see below for HW.

Game runs great with no screen tearing.

No problems that i know of.I play CSS at 300-999FPS and seen no problems with my monitor at all

I don't think it would really affect your monitor. I think the GPU just works harder pushing out the high frame rates.

No effect on monitor.

The monitor is only interested in the signal that would be something like the resolution setting 1920x1200x60. Whether your card is managing frames at 1fps or 10000fps, this won't effect the signal.

Esthetically, with 350 fps, I'd put vsync on.
