Foxconn Mars

Does anybody have any more information about the Foxconn Mars motherboard?

Last I heard it was meant to be released at the tail end of September.

I'm thinking about upgrading my rig along the lines of a Foxconn mars P35 motherboard & Q6600 to try and unlock some more performance from my gpu

I just did a bit more searching around and it seems llike the board is not as much as everyone first thought.

There was so much praise over their bios options, and that combined with the first review (which couldn't praise it enough) made me think that this would be a cracking good board.

I was obviously mistaken. Looks like I'll be looking into the Abit IP35 a little more

I've got an IP35 Pro and a Q6600 and so far I'm very pleased, can't fault the board at all. My first Intel based rig and the setup was just as easy as the AMD's before it.

Haven't done any overclocking with it as yet, to be honest I don't think I'm going to need to for a while

i opted for the asus p5ke, with a 3 year warranty.

only 2 years in the uk on abit, and not sure if you can transfer it like the asus boards!

£30 quid cheaper too!
