Was helping someone move and found it in the box, caught my eye.
Reviews say nothing good about it, but manufacture date puts it at the start of 2012.
Now, I got a Cisco DCP3001 from Comcast, so don't -really- need a modem, especially as this seems it'd be a downgrade.
But I noticed something neat - it can be used as a Wireless router? Well, I don't have any Wireless in my house...not that to much uses it really, but some stuff it'd be nice to have around, for like my PS3, Kindle, or for guests.
Could I somehow configure it to work with my Comcast modem, to use it as a Wireless router entirely? I hear it's crap, but bad wireless is better than no wireless.
Or is it just such a piece of junk I should trash it like the original owners did?
