Hey guys, ive been told by Mrapoc to post on here.

Right, when i insert a Floppy disk into my drive, my computer does not reconise that there is a floppy inside, and then refuseing to open the stored data.

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix it?

Have you tried a brand new floppy disk in there - as floppies tend to get corrupted very easily

ill try it now,

this problems happens with all my disks, not just this one

It could be that your floppy drive is corrupting the disks - my pc @ work does that.

Try blowing the floppy disk drive out just in case its filled with dust.

sry for doudle post, but ive only got this problem after ive changed my case, im sure that i have connected it up correctly,

If it hasnt its Mrapoc's fault

BLAME IT ON ME WILL YA :P

so its recognised to be connected to the computer - that means theres nout wrong with the connection (therefore not my fault :P)

hmm ill come round 2day and try some things out - your reformatting 2day arent u?

I've had a similar problem with my mobo and floppy drive. I tried 4 or 5 different ones (wanted to flash bios) and all I could do with it is format the disk, but right after formatting it, it wouldn't recognize it anymore. If I even to read what's on it, it also gives insert the disk crap (incl. brand new formatted, reformatted with that floppy drive, with files on it). I bought a pack of 10 brand new disks and none worked. Finally, I had to flash bios another way...It was frustrating, and I never figured out why it was doing it...That was with A8N5X board...
