Flashed GTO to GTX but doesn't detect as GTX?

I finally remembered to get around to flashing the BIOS on my GTO up to a GTX last night and the flash went smoothly. The only thing is that Windows / ForceWare still detects the card as a GT/GTO. Shouldn't this change to GTX when the bios is a GTX bios?? Thx in advance for any info.

I didnt think gfx cards did that. None of the lower line cards ive flashed to GT speeds have never done that

I didn't just hard lock to the higher GTX speeds, I literally put a GTX bios on it, so technically the computer should be reading the card as a GTX correct?

you mean at startup or within windows? have you tried reinstalling your drivers?

At startup it doesn't tell me what the card is. Haven't tried reinstalling drivers, should I give that a go?

Edit: What version of Nibitor lets you flash your card from Windows? I don't have that version and I can't seem to find it either.

The GTO is litteraly an underclocked GTX right? Just clock it up at leave it, either thought the drivers or modding the bios it came with.

If i remember flashing my 5700LE bios with the 5700u failed, but overclocking it to the same speeds was fine.

what method did you use to flash the card in the first place?

i've only used nvflash for nvidia cards, i've found it to be the most reliable method *shrug* although i wasn't aware that nibitor allowed flashing from within windows now (it's been a while since i flashed a card)

the latest version of NiBiTor is 3.0a

NVflash is also available from the same site, in the download section

Yeah im using nib 3.0a but someone had said here that the "latest" version of nib allowed flashing from windows.

And I flashed the card via nvflash.
