The cooling is all due to be upgraded asap, for some sort of water cooling not sure yet,but am leaning toward the XSPC rasa 750 rs240.That will be after a mod for the rad to fit up top.

I love the finish metalic touches on the front of the case. I am hoping that isn't a plastic imitation.
No there all metalic mate, they all come as standard except for the optical bay door, but that is what I like about Lian li,they do a very nice range addons.I agree the cables need some work,I am going to leave them for now until I get the water cooling bits and bobs, then a full modular psu and a 2nd gpu will be added,to finish it off. Thanks for the comments guys

That's a beauty right there. Are those extra PCIE slots pcie 3.0 or pcie 2.0 and better than x4? IF so the 7850 is an excellent choice for crossfire you really cannot go wrong, two of'em is like a beefy 512 bit / 2gb 7970, beastly

Cheers mate,I'm actually changing the case The cable management is awful. The pci's are
1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (blue) *2
1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (x4 mode, black)
2 x PCIe 2.0 x1
3 x PCI
From reading countless gpu reviews for the money I had £170,the 7850 was about the best bang for the buck.

Saw benchmarks where a 6950 only loses a couple fps in a crossfired 2.0x16-->4x slot, so a 7850 xfire should do pretty well on that mobo

you say 3570. why not get the 3570k if you are goin watercooling? thats my only criticism tho, not a bad first build.

honestly tho, how many people finish a build, and have some regrets about something they wish they did/bought differently, i know i do.

Sorry mate it is the K,my bad.
I wish I didn't jump into the case so quick, but who doesn't like a bargain lol.A full ally case for £50.It won't go to waste,I'm sure I will find a use for it.
I'm not really into all those plastic and mesh cases, but it is hard to find a nice looking non plastic/mesh case, that doesn't brake the bank.I'm looking into either the Silverstone RV-02(if I can find one anywhere) or the RV-03,and for some reason the Storm trooper.Although the later goes against everything I have just said. There is just something about it,If I could think of something to do to the front, all that bloody mesh.
A friend of mine can get carbon fiber sheet at a really good price,so maybe something with that, with a design of some sort machined into it with mesh /filters behind and some lights.

Good work there buddy. Very pleasing on the eye to see a lian-li case.
A little cable management here and there.
>exhaust fan - rotate 180' - run cable around the back
>sleeved cable kit for 24,8 & pcie cables - bitfenix (dirt cheap and will look killer in there) - maybe blue..
>that space beside the motherboard and the drive bays is just screaming for a nice tube res for your future watercooling setup.
>you could also mod the bottom to accommodate a 240 rad as well.

keep up the good work :)

Cheers mate. What do you mean by /exhaust fan - rotate 180' - run cable around the back?
Ive actually just given everything a good clean with the vac,so I decided to strip and re build,to sort out the cables. But I forgot to take some pics before I buttoned it all back up,I'll pop some on later.

A fresh pic,of the new cable management,I dug out the HD cage and reinstalled it so I was able to hide the bulk of cables behind that. After a good couple of hours(again tonight) that is the best i could do.It looks a whole lot cleaner now I think.I also added an extra 120mm fan in the lower 2 drive bays,I'm suprised on how much extra air it is pulling in.

A quick couple of pics of another upgrade. My motherboard needs to be rma'd because of a few problems , so I took the hint and done an early upgrade to the MSI Z77 MPower . The pics aren't great I forgot to buy new batteries for my camera . I need to do a bit of work on the cables , when the rest of my order catches up , a few more extensions and some gromets for the cable holes . I can then remove the optical drive , and hide the rear cables you can see through the cable holes .
