This will be my first time attempting to build my own computer, so before buying the parts I would like some reviews/advice on the parts I'm going to be using.

Corsair Obsidian Series 650D Mid Tower Case
MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming Motherboard
Intel i7 4770K Quad Core CPU
Corsair H100i Hydro Series CPU Cooler
Corsair Vengeance PRO 8GB 2133MHz Memory
MSI GeForce GTX 770 Gaming 2GB Graphic Card
TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 N900 Wireless Dual Band PCI Express Adapter
Corsair AX860 Fully Modular Platinum PSU
Samsung 840 Series 120GB SSD
Western Digital 1TB Caviar Blue HD
LG BH16NS40.AUAR10B 16x SATA Internal BDRW
CoolerMaster Mega Flow 200mm Red Front Fan
CoolerMaster Sickle Flow 120mm Red Rear Fan

If anyone has any advice on part alternatives please comment.

I'm assuming this build is for gaming?
Everything looks ok to me. Though the 650D imo is to expensive. Drop the PSU to a 650 watt and upgrde the SSD to a 240gb+ and get the samsung PRO or a different drive. The non pro is blah at best.

Another case to consider would be the Arc Midi R2. It's somewhat smaller and offers a few more options. Nothing wrong with the 650D though, it's a gorgeous case :)

Don't get Sickleflow fans. They are noisy and don't perform that well. Normally I would recommend Bitfenix, Noctua, Silverstone Air Penetrator, etc fans and since you seem to want red LED fans, the Bitfenix Spectre Pro would probably be best for you.

Gaming and workstation. The 650D is definitely something I will look to consider changing, thanks for the advice on SSD.

Cheers for advice on the fans, I want to reduce noise wherever possible.

If noise is a big issue then the Fractal R4 would be suggestion. The Fractal Arc 2 is also a very solid case that has better watercooling support than the R4 but it's slightly louder due to no sound absorbing foam.

SSDs i would look at: Samsung 840 pro(or 830 for better value), Kingston HyperX 3k, Crucial M4/M500,Corsair Neutron GTX 240gb,Intel.

Any fans the run sub 1000rpm are usually inaudible to most people. But then most fans running that slow usually all perform the same. Silverstone AP fans are quiet and undervolt well and the Corsair AF/SP running at 12v is loud but not too loud and can be drowned out by your speakers(7v they are silent).

Also those sickle flow fans are terrible. Just mega loud mate. Also I personally think all the fans should match too.......

Fractal R4 would be good, but I hear that for some people the H100i won't fit. In that case I would suggest a Nanoxia Deep Silence 2.

Could always get a Spectre Pro 200mm fan to match the rear fan. Although, if you do swap cases you'll most likely end up with 2x120mm intake fans.
