GJ ASUS. That was the stock southbridge TIM.

SB Sink all nice & Clean

I fail.

Mosfet sink pad removed, base cleaned. Put on some ceramique, then put on the pad again. Ghetto? Yes. Will it work better? Who knows.

Re-assembled, with metal ASUS logo off top of NB sink.

Looks very nice, what CPU are you getting? 8 phase power is cool, but why do they have to put caps so close to the socket it seems dumb.

Good reminder to re-apply ASC. I got my p5b deluxe 2nd hand and un-abused but I don't trust others pasting job. Plus I may mosfet the setup and put up some fanage.

If I design a good fan bracket and can cut it up easy, (i do have an ajustable acrylic hole saw), I'll see if I can make you one.

Alternatively, you can get a mosfet and ram cooler off Frag and mod it yourself. That's what I did! Nice to see the move back to Intel Nick
