right guys i was playin wi my system last night and the damm max3 kicked the bucket i tried every thing i could to revive it but nothing not even getting the green led .

so what do i do get a new mobo wich is around 120 quid or do i go athlon 64 .

highest stable hmmm well it does 11 x 260 stable enough to bench and play games but it probably isn't prime stable I can it will sandra burn in stable for hours on end at 11 x 260 it will burn in at 270 x 11 for a couple of hours then crash it will boot and run the internet etc at 11 x 273 so just over 3jig

Yep, tis true. At least thats what I have heard also. The new revision of Winchester which should be available soon may fix this though, it has a new memory controller and a few other improvements.

Start f the year apparently, just watch the big OC forums and you'll see them start to filter through. They should be being produced now, so give it a few weeks to filter to the market and grab one then.
