If I was a millionare
Seriously the OCZ Vertex 3 looks the best bet i.e it is available now
That's the second time I've seen the specs for the Fusion
ioDrive Octal and it still made my jaw swing.
I'd love to be able to have one of those in my rig, even if it was just for a day
Karlos:
Looks like i was mistaken. The guy on the forum made a mistake:

If you follow his link there is no Revodrive X3:

Just a Z-Drive R3 - and that's a whole other league.
So I guess it's between the Revodrive X2 and the Vertex 3.
Anybody know what the difference between the Vertex 3 EX and the Vertex 3 Pro is?
The Revodrive X2 does not support trim.
What would you guys do?
Found this review of the Revodrive x2 and it talks about the lack of trim. Its quite interesting and really takes the shine off the Revo:

I think that sites does some good critical reviewing which I really like instead of all this "this is just great, you need it in your life" you get some places which really does my nut cus you can just tell there writing like that to get more stuff from the manufactures. It's one of the things I like about Toms reviews actually, sorry, not what we're talking about. Squirrel effect there.
Yeah, if you have a look at the HDD/SSD section on that site they also have a review of the vertex 3 and also the crucial M4/C400.
Ah, just found this as I'm writing this reply which may help address your question on the difference between the EX and Pro.

I had another thought too, just cus I like throwing spanners, I'm no raid expert as was covered in another post but if your looking for around 240GB of storage, would putting two 120GB drives in raid 0 give you that because it would seriously increase your read write times and working off the scan prices of the vertex 3, two 120GB drives would only be £25 more than a single 240GB drive.
As for what you should do I'm not really sure because its more money than I could currently afford to spend on a drive so I don't think its right tell you to spend it.
Hope all this is of some help
