As of today, the match server has a new admin plugin on it called EDAP (EnemyDown Admin Plugin). It is basically an eventscripts addon which allows easy admining on the server through a GUI.

It works as follows...

If your steamID is on the admin list, then you can use all commands. At present the following members are admins...

Dav0s, XMS, Tom, Llwyd, Jiffz, Oxo, Ham

To bring up the admin menu, type !ed in chat. This will bring up a list of all commands you can run.

A full list of all features of this plugin can be viewed here, but ill go over the basics now.

All commands can be run from the main !ed menu. To go KO3 or LO3 or just do an RR, these are all avilable from option 1 on the list. Alternatively u can type !lo3, !ko3 or !rr in chat to run these commands.

The second option in the !ed menu is the maps menu. Just press the corresponding number to change to the desired map. If the map you want is not listed in this menu, then you can type !map <map_name> in chat. For example !map cs_office

The third item in the menu is the configs menu. From here you can exec mr12 or mr15 configs. Also I have added "training.cfg" which has 16k startmoney, no freezetime, long roundtimes etc which im sure will be very useful.

The 4th item in !ed allows you to change server passwords, shd this be necessary.

The 5th item allows you to kick players, ban players, view player rates and swap players teams. This can also be done with !kick, !ban, !rates etc. Typing !rates in console brings up a list of everybodies rates

The 6th and final item in the !ed menu is the demo menu. If sourcetv is not enabled you can enable it here. You can also start demos, stop demos etc from here. There is an inbuilt feature in this plugin which auto stops demos if there are les than 2 players on the server, but i suggest you all still stop demos manually if you remember.

I suggest you all read the PDF above, and have a test of this plugin yourself. I hope you wil find it very useful

Typing !rates in console brings up a list of everybodies rates

The rates and the sourcetv options sound excellent

Maybe people will think twice about cheating if they know you are recording them

Also there must be so many people who have dodgy rates tbh.

I know the netcode is bad on cs:s, but emptying a AK on someone and only causing 40dmg is mental

Can any player access the !rates thing or is it only the people with admin access?

I also notice there is rate enforcement aswell

Rate Enforcement

ed_rate_rate "15000"

Here the user can define a set of minimum rates for players on the server – the rates will

be automatically changed if they are below this level. Please abide to ED rules when

using this feature.

ed_rate_restrict "1"

Here the user can toggle some basic zBlock functionality – when set to 1, the plugin will

block some exploitable user cvars, most importantly interp/interpolate. This setting will be

automatically disabled if any version of zBlock is present on the server, to prevent

incompatibilities.

ed_rate_chars "1"

Here the user can define whether or not to automatically change the rates of a user if

their rates are non-numerical – if rate enforcement values have been defined above.

the recording option is for demos, we are obliged to record all games in ED

i think anybody can use !rates, give it a go and check

we have rate enforcement set to a min of 18000, 60, 60. i didnt wanna set it too high as some people have lower rates as it suits their connection better. this should just stop all clear rate hackers
