Hey all,

My phanteks PWM fan hub died only after 6 days of use, I was wondering should i go for another fan hub or fan controller i don't really know much about fan controllers but if i was going to get one the cables must be sleeved it would make my build look nicer, I was looking at the Corsair Commander Mini but i'm not sure if its worth the price tag. so what would you guys recommend.

Thanks all

Most fan controllers don't have cables, they have sockets to plug in power and fan cables so they will need to be braided.

Problem is most of the cables that come with fan controllers the cables that come with them aren't braided unless i could buy custom braided cables, do you know can you buy custom braided cables for fan controllers, but would you buy just a hub or controller

Thanks for the advice

Personally i would get a load of fan speed reducers and run with that. If you must control your fans a good fan controller is what i would recommend.

The bit with the red box around it is what blew up the fan hub, is that a common part to blow up?

You could ask for a replacement from phanteks before buying a controller. I cant really suggest a good controller since it has been years that i used one.

Most of the controllers i have looked at from the place i would be buying one the range isn't that big tho, I think i might just send the fan hub back to the place where i and get a credit on it.

Thanks
