Words can't save this dude. There are no words that could fix this hot mess of a game, only actions. Plus, even if they DO fix all the bugs, pretty up the graphics, etc, that still leaves the rest of the issues with the core gameplay itself. I'm not a game programmer, but it looks like there are issues here that cannot easily be solved without changing a lot of CORE stuff. But that's just one uneducated man's opinion.

Why? Bethesda stated the future of updates 10 days ago. I don't get what the problem is it's a great game, even better in a group.

Well I can't play it yet, so let them keep updating it 'cause a couple of things in that list would stop me playing it.

1. Having to have to listen to people all the time (I'm autistic)
2. Having my mic on all the time (see above, erm, no)
3. Motion blur. It makes me sick and I turn it off in every game I play.

Then maybe if my PC was done I would give it a try. I mean you know how it goes dude. Your GF is autistic.. It's like trying to force her into a public situ where she has to talk. It'll only end in a meltdown.

They've released the console game on PC, and now will fix it. Why does it sound like exactly the same as the PC version of FO4?

People are saying about the terribly blurry distance scenery. FO4 was like that, it was bloody awful.

You don't have to listen to people all the time, just disable in game Voip in the options menu. We don't use it anyway just Discord for the squad.

Motion Blur is also disabled via Graphics Options in game and the DoF effects have been toned right down as of the last patch but it you still dislike it (I hate it) you can just disable all DoF via the Custom.ini.

The blur was an attempted fix at the dreaded texture pop-in / LOD issues that the engine has. While I like the idea that they attempted to fix it, it DID result in a lot of people reacting badly to the blur.

In 6 months - 1 year, this game might not be all that bad if they keep fixing it. Might be a great deal on a 50% sale at that time, certainly not now though.

I'm getting my FO itch scratched with FO4 survival mode + modes for increased difficulty, gfx, and 'realism', if such a word can be ascribed to a post apocalyptic universe. It's amazing how good this game can STILL look with proper mods. FO76 would be a step back from that. Although I must admit, watching some of Oxhorn's videos, there's a LOT of cool lore for us FO freaks in 76. That whole Mistress of Mystery quest line looks awesome, especially with the FO4 tie-ins they did.

One thing that has made me think is people saying "I've played this for 30 hours and it sucks".

1. Why would you play it for that long if it were that bad?
2. 30 hours out of a game these days is quite good.

Don't get me wrong I know it's bad (terrible even) but it must be remotely playable for that to happen.

It still scratches the 'fallout exploration itch" for a lot of people, due to the huge map size and lots of places to explore. That part is the only tempting part for me. But all the other bad parts aren't enough to balance that out. Maybe in a year, for $20, but not before then.

Yes mate got it a couple of weeks ago. Still shrink wrapped. It was the end goal for this mod I am doing, but obviously that has taken a large stutter.

I just hope this order with WCUK is smoother than the last one.

I've played it a little, granted I'm only lvl.10, but I find the game incredible boring! This may look and feel like Fallout 4, but the lack of story elements is making this game feel like another WoW chore. Click npc (in this case a piece of paper or holo tape), go to point A,B, and C etc, fetch stuff, turn in. Rinse and repeat. I would not recommend anyone playing this solo at all

its a badly marketed sandbox game.

Had they mentioned sandbox, peoples expectations would be different and I dont the backlash would be as bad. Instead everyone expects the same detailed stories and quest design.
