F**k Off, Steam!!!

Could also be the weather (assuming you're from UK? forgive me if I'm wrong mate) I currently have 25*c at my hard disks and optical bays with 28*c above the D-14 but the other night was up to 28*c and 31*c. Still thinking of overclocking my mobo back to it's old speeds now I'm certain all is well in the land of the circuit boards

Pretty close to the UK, I guess. Well, I cleaned out my rig now and my temps dropped 6-10c!!!!

A picture of how dusty my D14 was can be seen at the bottom. I'm glad I ended up cleaning out my rig because I hooked up my HDD properly and the same with my DVD. So now I'm all set until I get my new case which might take for ever.

FAIL!!! Forgot the picture. I hope you didn't read this before I changed it. (Sorry for bad quality) Here it is:

omfg - you could make some sweaters from all that fluff (not good)

your rig must be on the floor!!! get it off there and put it up higher, somewhere

Gee that is some serious dust, no wonder you are getting better temps now you have cleaned it.

Yeah, I know. The HAF 922 is a dus magnet. But I must admit that I'm not very good at keeping my floor clean. Like with vacuuming and such. Sorry, bit drunk here.

Yes, it is, but I got no where else to put it. My desk is big enough, but I got this little 10" block TV sitting next to me so it get's so crowded with my PC here too. When I get my new monitor. I'm hoping to buy it pretty soon. Then I will be able to have TV on my monitor as well. Then I can take down the TV.

One of the reasons i'm switching to watercooling, those heatsink fins are a pain in the arse for dust sometimes.
wink.gif

That's true. I would love to go water cooling, but my budget is too tight.

EDIT!!!! By the way, my rig is totally clean now. I would have taken a pic if I wasn't so lazy and drunk. Sorry, guys. Trust me, it's clean now.

I never knew you could strap fire extinguishers to a heatsink

. Glad the temps have gone down, might have to do it to mine tomorrow!

Yeah, that was pretty damn nasty.

I gotta start cleaning my PC more often.

I never knew you could strap fire extinguishers to a heatsink

Hahahahahahahahah xD

The NZXT Vulcan is a bigger dust magnet...

And yeah I didn't mean delete the thread.

Yeah, sorry about that, man.

Yeah need to get a new can, really need to do my 5850, idling at 66c
sad.gif

66c?
ohmy.gif
I've never cleaned my 5870, well aside from the fan on it, and it idles at 38c/33c. (There are two temps and I don't know which one I should look at.

Steam is using so long to get back to me. I've waited for a day now without any replies. I gave them the info they needed, but the way they said they wanted the info seemed so weird. Just to say what kinda credit card, the owner of the credit card (My brother) and the last four digits of the credit card number in a reply. Seems like a heavy way to do it if you ask me. I hope I get my Steam back tomorrow. I'm getting pretty tired of not being able to play any of my games. About time to open a book? Nah...
