F@H Control gone awol

It just crashed on me (running on my main rig, got a 'has stopped working' windows error) so I started it again and now most text is just [][][][][][][][][][][]s, any ideas what's wrong? All clocks are 100% stable, have been for months on end of folding.

Update, rebooted and installed latest Windows updates, now running the same 8004 SMP but both GPU clients have been lost (11293). There are eight clients in the work queue.

Bit too small to see that screenie..

Lol. It was Imageshack playing up and not letting me fullsize it..

Hmm.. Nothing looks out of place? How is it running now?

Yeah, all looks good now from that screenshot. Lost WUs are inevitable really. At least they don't happen near as often now. Is it folding along like normal now?

Just a quickie, is anyone having upload problems lately? I think it's my broadband (just switched to Virgin, and typically there's cock-ups in my area on the first weekend), but just wanted to check. Got 5 units waiting to upload, and they all keep failing.

I'm having problems uploading to the 129.74.85.16 collection server. Isn't responding to ping either. Got 5 WUs waiting to upload.

Sorry guys, was wondering where this thread went

It's done it twice more since, about once every day. Just stops working with a C++ error it says then have to reboot before it will work properly again without just going to [][][][][][][]s (which isn't instant, it goes gobbledy gook after about 10 seconds of launching F@H after a crash).

On a side note I see a good few PPDs have gone down since these 88pt SMPs have rolled out, maybe they have something to do with the crashes, no idea how...

I'd follow what Pickster has said, check your overclock (maybe even downclock for a few days to see if it helps?) and update the Client if you can?
