Just after everyone is weened off the 5.25s they release this.

So essentially it's an hdmi pass through and a couple of USB ports?

Pretty much yeah but considering the Oculus needs 3 x USB 3.0's and 1 x USB 2.0, this seems a little lacking in the connectivity department.

Tbf, EVGA probably assumed that most cases already have 2 USB3 ports at the front anyway, and I don't know of any motherboard that has 3 front USB3 headers.

Yeah, so 2 for the case and 2 for the EVGA hub. Adding another 2 USB3 ports on that hub would've been a useless move from EVGA and only increased the cost.

However, I ready on another forum that the image above is pre-production sample only and the retail units will have all the necessary ports.

What I personally don't like about the EVGA cards is that whenever the fans are off and then getting a load on the GPU and starts, wether it's on startup or in a more heavy game, the fans goes to full 100% speed and then drops and increases. Instead of being stopped and then slowly increasing.

So it has to be a jetplane before slowing down and then slowly increasing the speed again...

And according to EVGA support, this is how it's designed. So no way to get rid off it... Really did it for me regarding EVGA's 980Ti :(

I had this exact thing with my Classified, It's easily sorted though by having a 1:1 fan ratio as the ACX fans are pretty quiet :)

Which is set where exactly?... Might put it in again and try it out, before returning it :)

I'm literally the "return-guy" lmao

We get Dicey, you love the classy ( I do too ;) )

Defo not the best aftermarket coolet though.

I don't have the Classified anymore, Matrix Platinum :)

Oh, well even better.

Well you boys and your toys ;)

Lucky your not in AU. Otherwise you would be hit by 10-25 or even 30% so called "restocking fee" and on the condition that it is sealed/unused. Damn crooks. Oh and not to mention that the refund would be credit that you can only use at their specific store.
