Just can't believe my luck first my new monitor has gone missing in the post, my h105 is missing a stand off, the power button doesn't work on my 780T and I cant get sli configured in Nvidia's control panel and something is clicking when i restart and when my system boots and no it's not hard drives as is does it when they aren't connected so I'm stuffed if I know what I'm doing wrong :(

Sorry to hear bud, But the clicking sounds familiar, Sounds like a PSU issue from experience anyway.

Is it coming from the PSU area ?

You're missing the SLI setting, how random, have you tried to reinstall the driver?

Common issue for me and almost everytime I update this happens. I lose SLI settings even when I do a clean install.

These days I dont bother updating unless i need to.

I am not 100% sure, but have you tried checking the SLI bridge? If you were close by, I could lend you some of my spares. Literally have AIO's, Graphics cards, cpus etc etc everything just piled up collecting dust. This happend to me once a few yours back and it ended up being the bridge.

Perhaps try putting the cards into your old PC and see if the sli option comes up there. As it could be a problem with the motherboard.

Sorry to hear of your woes mate.

On the clicking as DC has mentioned, it may well be the PSU, had something similar on my AX850.

On SLI, LOL something similar always use to happen to me when the drivers would auto-update, turned it off once I was happy with drivers working the way they should. :)

Onwards, all the best.

The monitor is still missing Aus post don't know where it is and they wont accept my complaint to start an investigation PLE whom I bought everything off have to do it, I mean really how bloody stupid is that? So PLE wont get the email till Monday which means another week will go past before anything happens so to say Im upset is an understatement.
MSI are replacing my board it gets picked up Monday lunch time so hopefully everything will get sorted there nice and quick
Newbie_NS810 has been a real champ and is sending me a standoff for the H105 so can't thank him enough for that
And the last issue is to sort out an RMA for my 780T as the power button don't work on it so I guess everything should be sorted in a week or two

The clicking is coming from the motherboard it seems it may be coming from a relay in the soundcard my mates Gaming 9 clicks too I have 980's and he has 970's

Life is really shoving sh*t your way at the moment ain't it buddy, I hope you get the monitor situation sorted soon. Glad MSI swapped the board for you too, what a weird thing to slip through quality control

It will get sorted eventually I guess, Lord grant me patience but hurry lol one thing though was playing some Mech and I'm getting 100fps on one 980 @ 1920x1080 so cant wait to see what happens when everything is working as it should and it's at 2560x1440 :)

Mate it's gonna be awesomely great when it's all up and running and the system is near silent on air and every-time you boot up the case resets the fan speed controller to maximum and even then you can hardly hear it so yeah cant wait to get it all sorted,
Oh and the onboard sound on this M/B is really good so much so I think it's better than my X-Fi Titanium card really really surprisingly good

Mate I was truly sorry to hear that card died after all the hassle and expense you went through to get it too I just wish there was an easier and cheaper way to get it sorted for you.....

Gonna buy the ROG Swift eventually anyway, well if something else doesn't come up anyway

Congrats.

Bit surprised by your clicking with onboard audio. Most new boards have a shield to really reduce the sound it makes when that occurs. I know that is the case for ASUS and AS Rock boards. Guess MSI do it a slightly different way then. Then again MSI have different audio chip so could be the reason.

Glad you got your monitor. Things are beginning to look up. I have the Swift and its outstanding!
