enermax owns saved me from death

I was wiring a fan up to put in my case either i crossed the ground and +12 or it was shorted inside when i powerd the pc up i smelled smoke and saw white smoke puffing out my psu i yanked power fast and looked at fan as you will see soon not much left of the power cable on it. I took the fan and left over wires out and decided to be brave and try to power and everything works fine the enermax didnt fry and it saved all my parts lol and probly saved me from a heartattack if i fried everything in my pc.

I've had the same thing happen with a fan. I assumed it jammed. The resulting fire burned through 2 IDE cables and left a rather nasty scorch mark inside my case.

I hadn't noticed until there was a thick layer of smoke at about 5 ft off the ground as I have next to no sense of smell.

lol i had just sit the pc down so i was right next to it saw all the white smoke like a car had blown a head.
