Elgato Gaming teases their first custom ICs - What do they have planned?

I would love to see a company come out with a capture card that does all the encoding on the card, so it doesn't use your cpu or gpu in the likes of OBS.
That is one of the major issue's I think for Streamers and people creating videos using a capture card, as the pc always has to either have a good high end cpu or a decent mid range gpu to handle the encoding.
There might be some cards out there that do it, but how much do they cost?
Is the cost something that most starters looking to break in to streaming or video production would be willing to pay?
