£1600 for insurance?

blah.....i paid more than double that in me first year, thats TPF&T too!

but i now pay 460odd quids, MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAAA

i'll get me coat......

it was a Nissan hatch back that me old man had, he wont allowed me to be on his insurance:( , even tho his car was a group 15:eek: , and he wont let me buy my own rusty car because he said i'll be crushed if someone crashed into me:rolleyes: ....

so, for safety reasons, he said i MUST buy my own insurance, and only on his car, and he'll give me his car after my first year of insurance is over:D ....

i then proceed to drive like a pu$$y or get a lift from my older bro as much as i can for the first year, after that, my insurance been going down and down, floating at 1-1.5k for a while, but now pays 460odd a year!:D

after i've thought about it............me old man was very thoughtful......back then, we didnt have these NCB sharing thingy....so i guess me old man must have been thinking its better for me to pay a lump of money first, and enjoy cheaper insurance later due to getting NCB's under my name.

but man was it hard, i not only had to empty every penny from me bank account, i nearly had to sell my pants for insurance!

[edit]-cant spell.....blah...

Group 15, thats why it cost so dam much. Thats only 4 less than a bleeding skyline. My car is group 4. £1400 1st year, 700 2nd, 450(ish) 3rd (coming this november).

Ye you can get insured, but you have to pay through the nose. My old Clio Sport was group 16

Now I'm on a 205 GTI 1.6 which isn't as fast but is fun :)

my soon to be new car is £1200 fully comp and business. Tis group 16, 1.6 turbo, 0.60 in 6.8s and over 260lbs of torqe!
