EKWB teases their upcoming RTX 2070, 2080 and 2080 Ti water blocks

Pretty. And if you can afford a 2080Ti then you can afford the water. Can you afford not to? I reckon these will be nice and toasty on air.

Well everyone can afford water, you can just take it from your bathroom or so. But it will most likely damage your hardware, since you most likely have no where to put it in your PC

Prefer their older 980ti/1080ti clear blocks. Just not buying into this rgb on blocks craze.

The lighting needs to be soft and subtle, with a gentle glow. When you can pinpoint the source of each individual LED like in above pictures, it does not look well done. Quite funny though, because NBD and I were recently commenting on how we preferred the EKWB over the alpha cool ones, and then they release... this.

Of course you can turn it off, but whats the point of the extra cost then. Still though, that small EK logo is just class!

I'm not a fan of EK. They're not a "details" company. ALL of their stuff is over-priced. That said, for certain things like full motherboard mono-blocks, they're the only game in town for some boards. The only EK products I would highly recommend are their radiators.

Bitspower do more monoblocks than EK actually.

Yeah but they're not as readily available, depending on where you are. I have loads of access to EK stuff, but not BP, unless I'm ordering directly from them. I've heard whispers that BP isn't as easy to deal with for bulk supplier ordering as EK is.

I've got to admit I have not looked about that much on my builds for alternatives from other companies but I'll be honest and say that is mainly because I have found the quality of their kit really good and I'd like to say it justifies the price (yeah, I should really buy other brands however!).

Having said that, strangely you say about their radiators being great (mechanically I think they are) but I found the paint quality a bit 'off' on one of the ones on my recent builds so I had to do a little more work to get them resprayed on my last build.

Actually I don't have any issues with BP. I order them directly from their own website which ends up being cheaper than buying from an E-tailer

I save about €3 per fitting ordering from them. I just make my order, pay via paypal. Contact their rep on skype (not necessary) and they ship it. No different to EKWB online store really.

Plus.. ordering direct, you get their full range of selections, discounts and deals. Something you don't get anywhere else.
