Hi, yesterday I got my new Ek block for the gtx780ti, but when looked at it, it has a brown mark/ colour where water canals are, also one screw has marks on it. Is this normal? It's still in sealed plastic.

The brown marks are probably just a color illusion since what you see are the machining marks.

About the screw, can you explain what the mark is? Or maybe a close-up picture of it.

I did send a mail to the retailer and EKWB , didn't get a answer about this. It's the hex screw with the white circle around it. I find when I pay good money for something, I expect also good quality also.

So EKWB is going to send new screws for it, going to clean the copper. According EKWB the dark spot is a finger print, This normally wouldn't be there, because they have to use gloves when fabricating this. I can say that even this isn't a rma case from them, they will help me. with the reseller is a different story. With the reseller there is minimum delay of 3 weeks with their rma service. So problem solved, thanks to EKWB.

Perhaps the QC guy examined the product, saw a loose screws, took it apart for a check and tightened it himself before passing it on for selling and during that time got his grubby finger on the gpu fins ;)

Certainly explains both issues.
