EK reveals their first X470 series monoblock for ASUS' ROG Strix X470-F

They probably predicted that they could sell more of these and started off with this first. They'll probably cost the same anyway, so more volume means more profit.

And again I stumbled over the fact that it's a ROG board and not an AREZ one. Now I know that that's totally correct since the board itself is not by AMD, but I somehow get confused now whenever I see an AMD chipset and the ROG branding :confused: I guess I'm the only one? :D

Yeah, there is no consistency.

But if you are a ROG fan and purchase these future nvidia gpu with the branding, then you want your mobo to share the same names. Gone are the days where motherboards only supported AMD or Nvidia. Since there is no allegiance anymore they would probably suffer on sales changing AMD related boards to Arez

This will be like the Rog Maximus Extreme IX board I bought with the bitspower block. Expect to see price range between £550 and £650 i guess.
