EK develops extra-thick Meltemi fans to enable better cooling performance

looks interesting , proof of the pudding is how much difference they actually make over standard varda's , i was hoping for a 140 variant of the rgb fan but alas no

Now the quest for proper length screws/bolts for each radiator thread type begins. If anyone finds 6/32 or M3 / M4 bolts that look ok and are the correct length; please shout out!

Why would you need custom bolts? just bolt the fan to the rad with the standard screws (using the inner wall) then screw it into the case with those self tap things.

It's how I did mine and do every time the fan does not have a solid tube down the screw hole.

I remember those fans. Literally, only need one in a pull/exhaust config. Your system would have stayed frozen but sounded like a jet engine :D

I had an SK6 with a delta screamer on it. It cooled so well, but my computer sounded like a hair dryer, no exaggeration.

You could lose a finger in those fans, LOL! Anyone remember a time when fan grills were NEEDED for PROTECTION? :D

We had a server in once with 120v metal fans. It was scary.

Edit. Nidec make fans just like these. I have a few as they were stock in my Alienware.
