Hey all :)

I have a question , in about 3 weeks I am going to rebuild my Destiny rig. Its a TJ-07 watercooled, it had 3 way GTX 670 on a EK 480 rad. see here:

No for my new build I already bought 2 GTX 980's and a EK480 PE radiator,
now I wonder would that radiator be enough to cool 3x GTX 980.
I know the 980 is about 160-165 watts when full load, but the PE series is thinner then a normal rad since its only 4 cm.
Dont worrie about the CPU (5930K), it goes on a second loop with its own 240 rad.

please your thoughts on this, thnx in advance :D

Just do one loop mate you don't need a separate one for the CPU, it's not like the 980's fun at silly temps.

Sorry wont change that, already have the parts for it, and worked that out.
I just wonder if 3 gtx 980 will work a EK 480 PE

What they say is a 120 for each block, and one for luck. But I've always put in what the maximum the case can take, all except a rear single.

So based on that I'd say it's enough. 40mm is a bit thin though. Are you planning on overclocking? Nice looking rig btw. :)

no I'm not planning on any overclocking, just gaming mostly. And yea the PE series from EK are 4 cm thick, its not so much. But then again its a 480 rad.
