I wouldn't call it a win just yet. Progress, definitely. But not a win.

I've never seen EA back down ever. It's one of the reasons why I steal all of their games deliberately and out of spite. I play them with this wicked grin on my face, you should see it.

Yeah that's EA all over. Buy up a studio, rinse it for all its worth then drive it into the ground. Then repeat.
