Help My Computer Keeps Dumping Physical Memory, I Dont Know Why It Does It, I Have It Randomly Do It When Playing Games And Aslo When I Click Shut Down It Does It Also.

400gb Sata Hdd

Asus Ati Crossfire Ready Mobo

2 X Dvdrw

2gb Ddr400 Pc3200 Ocz Platinum

Watercooling With 3 Radiators And A P6 Pump Including Northbridge Cooling

Windows Xp Home Edition

I Have Loads Game Installed, External Dvd Drive, Webcam. Usb Joystick Installed

Any Suggestions Welcome

If you don't have a Floppy drive you can also use a flash drive with integrated floppy drive emulation.

As long as your motherboard supports booting from a USB port... ;)

What games are you running?

For example, Dark Messiah and Oblivion are notorious for causing memory probs. Dark Messiah suffers badly from memory leaks and Oblivion is so resource intensive, I find it takes ages to quit back to Windows, and during shut down the hard drive goes crazy while the swap file is cleaned up.

Also worth checking you system forstability with Orthos or something

you got a link to that software, i will need to make a boot cd because not got a floppy drive or a flash drive either.

the game that made it crash was cnc generals, cod2 crashed to desktop (ctd) only, bf2142 ctd alot. css is sweet but hardly play it
 
Have you checked event viewer in Admin Tools. Sometimes it'll pinpoint which component is the culprit, maybe a .dll file within the games folders or something.

in the event viewer i cant find the error code that i had for the crash.

there are alot of error codes for something called DCOM

I Thought The Problem Had Sorted Itself Out But Today When Listening To Music It Crashed And Dumped Physical Memory. Can You Tell Me How To See If My Ram Is Stable. And If It Is Not How To Fix This Problem

i didnt mean to shout, i didnt realise it had caps on till i posted it. memtest or orthos, which is easiest to use or is it best to run both.
