I`ve seen pics of it before, but the pic against the guys arm REALLY makes it obvious! Its a COMPLETE BEAST!!!

When, and how much? I`m expecting £1K+

so can you get two of those and do SLI?

No you cant, if you look at the top of the card there is no SLI connector, also i guess you are unlikely to have enough space of any motherboard to run 2 cards and keep them cool.

That card is just ridiculous, the dual 6800GTs were just about borderline, but that is just insane. (and the 6800GTs i think you can run in SLI on a gigabyte board)

But whos gonna buy one of these when you can get one 7800 GTX that will perform about the same for probably alot less?

A lot of these things are shown or released to help finance future projects that may or may not revolve around what they are showing us today.

How long will it be before dual core GPU's are released?

What would be even more impressive is if dual core GPU's are released with a 32pipe core one side and a physics CPU the other

All these things are done to see if they can be, then the next task is to make it smaller.

Maybe the stepping stone will be a card with a GPU and a physics chip installed with 512MB ram?

It's all speculation of course but we see things like this all the time and they always seem to be heading towrd a natural progression or evolution of todays hardware.
