Dual Monitor help

Pentium 4

Hello guys, I have a bit of a problem. Basically, I have the 4790K and the Maximus Hero VII and have hooked up two monitors, one with a DVI-DVI cable and the other with a HDMI-DVI cable. My DVI-DVI monitor is working fine, however the monitor I have connected with the HDMI-DVI cable says "No Signal". The monitor works fine as I have swapped the connections around and it works. Also, when I remove the HDMI lead from the motherboard and re-connect it, the screen responds and the power light comes on, however the "No Signal" is displayed again.

Has anyone got any advice on what to do? Thanks.

Have you enabled multi monitor support in the Bios ? I had the same last week with my Z97 Asus Gryphon, so I checked the Bios, and there is a section for the built in GPU, just select multi monitor support, and you'll be golden mate.

Paul, I feel like driving out to wherever you live and giving you a big hug! Top work buddy, all works now thanks so much :D!

EDIT - Back with another problem :P. Whenever I restart the machine the second display turns off again and required me to manually pull out the HDMI cable and plug it back in for it to turn back on. Thanks for all your help.

Hello again guys. I have noticed that whenever I restart the machine the second screen goes off and I have to manually unplug the HDMI connector and plug it back in for it to be detected. Does anybody know how to get around this?

Thanks.
