im running two displays and wont to have a game (Full screen app) open on my main display and have my browser on the second display. the problem is when i have a game open on my main display i cant go to my second display without hitting the start key or exiting the game. i wonted to know if there is a way i can move to the secound display by moving my mouse and holding a specific button at the same time

sorry for the complicated question

Edit: i have an AMD card so using CCC

You need to run your games in Window mode. Most games support this.

Check the video options in each game.

is there another way around this because some games consider it "cheating" and you get kicked from the server and the sever i play on for cod4 does this

Even in windowed mode you will still have to alt tab or start key your way out. as the mouse will still be looked to the windowed game. cant why window mode would be considered cheating though lol.

yea i know its a stupid rule - but thanks for the help anyway i appreciate it

Yeah, unfortunately I don't think there is another way as mentioned above. Hopefully Microsoft can implement something to allow what you want in the future as it would come in handy

Think it's up to the game if that want to include that option or not. Most MMO's have a windowed full screen option. The only game I've seen have one apart from MMO's is Civ 5.

o well i just will have to live with it. it is still good for school work and editing but i think its a feature that should be implemented because it would be nice to have monitoring software, browsers, etc... on the second monitor and be able to switch between them

you can have that info anyways. i have coretemp ans gpu temp afterburner etc on my second screen, even in full screen mode i can still see em anyway.
