ime thinkin of dual booting vista but ime not sure the best way of going about it

how do you do it?

shall i make and install it on a partition on my c drive or make a partition on my 2nd hard drive and put it on there?

or shall i buy a cheap ass hdd/external drive and try it out on that? - i am liking this idea most atm

ime a bit weary of install it on my second hd cause it has the most files on which is very important, ime talking 160gb of media and backup here so ime sure you can understand lol

thanks in advance peepz:)

Why don't you unload all your media to an external HD and then install the second boot on your second harddrive? :wavey:

All i did was install XP from the disc and make three partitions

1 for Vista ~30gb

1 for XP ~30gb

The rest for storage ~100gb

That way you install XP, then Vista and anything you need to keep between them you can use in both OS.

Also When you boot up it gives you a choice of running Vista or older OS before it starts up Vista
