Dropped DDR4 support and a longer lifespan? LGA-1851 will push Intel forward

With Arrow Lake roughly just over a year away I'm hoping by the time it comes out in Q3-4 2024 going by current info that we have some ludicrously fast DDR5 kits for sale.

I do not even upgrade CPU

I did not consider to purchase Intel since Core I7-4790K for short-live sockets and abysmal yearly CPU performance gains. It reminds me of EA releasing the same game every year with different numbers in title (FIFA X, NHL Y).

Thanks to this I moved to Ryzen years ago and change platform once in 4-5 years only when socket changes. Right now I'm still holding to AM4 and do not see the urge to move to AM5. Considering early adopter issues, boot time memory training and so on...probably will skip AM5 entirely.
