Dremel Cutting Disk Advice

Anyone know of a good cutting disk to get for the dremel. The ones that came with it keep breaking after about a minute.

This is a question that i've been meaning to ask someone for a while now, cheers guys.

Those cruddy little brown things are ok for very light use, but on sheet metal like an Xbox 360 chassis I only get about 3 inches per disc.:cussing:

You can always double up on the small thin ones if you need to cut right now, they work much better that way and it would be a shame just throw them in the trash. Then go out and get some quality disks.......:)

Cheers for the help, would never have thought to do that. Going to B&Q later to check out what they got there.

have you tried the minicraft (originally by black and decker) range of tools?

i've had no problems with them!

not sure if you can get them outside the uk though

I am not sure why you are dissing the brown disks, although there may be disks that last longer they are not that bad imo. Every time I have broken a disk it has been through my own fault and was avoidable. I normally slipped and jammed the disk, or was at an angle in the cut and wore sides until it was too thin. I am not sure where you live but here in the U.S. you can buy a package of 25 or so disks for a couple of bucks.
