Yup. Interesting that the recommended GPU is close to the GPU in the PS4 :D, I hope this game has Mantle on Day one.

Mantle should be in this game on day 1. Frostbyte was the first engine to be mantle ready after all and other Frostbyte games like plants vs zombies had it on day 1

Yeah I agree, and have been saying the same thing for a while, I just hope I don't get proven wrong :P. But considering it was in BF: Hardline Beta(Why put it in a Beta if it was hard to enable?) I'm feeling fairly confident it will be in Dragon Age as well.

I'm excited for Mantle with this game but skepticle.. Dice put it in post launch of BF4 and it did next to nothing. Bioware probably got a newer dev kit for mantle and hopefully if that is the case it actually performs better.

One thing is for sure for AMD users.. Driver Update!

I enjoyed the 1st 2 on console, which were ok, then i booted up DA 1 on my pc and the dif is amazing :)

The specs look good at least not as poor as some others... love these odd number resolutions consoles are getting spose 900p (i guess it would be true 1600:900) is something better than 754 or what ever it was lol :)

Hopefully it will run like bf4 did then if these were its min specs :) nice big install file, so hopefully a nice long good looking game if all goes well :)

Should easily handle it, hopefully it will support Ultrawide natively.

Is that Isabella in the pic?

Yes that Isabella.

DA2 was a let down compared to Origins, DA2 was so linear with endless fetch quests. Good to see they have a good PC UI this time and have gone back to Origins style combat with DA:I. I'll still be waiting for reviews before I decide to buy it.

Doesn't look like it will be a demanding game with a 270/660 as the recommended, we wont be seeing the Frosbite 3 we see in BF4 anyway.

Well thats not true.. recommended pretty much means med settings at 1080p. Whatever its at thats not for maxed. It'll stress the system unless its really optimized.

Hopefully they haven't focussed on the console version at the expense of the PC edition. I don't mean graphically, most things look good these days, but DA2 was terrible after the brilliance of DA:O. It's the Witcher 2 to the Witcher, the Dark Souls 2 to Dark Souls... yeah okay that last one's a bit of a stretch.

As to "it runs at 1080P on the PS4, will your PC run it", unless you own a Voodoo 2, probably. It's why we own gaming PCs and berate the console ports isn't it? :)

Witcher 2 was a great game and better than the first? Doesn't really fit that analogy

It does, TW2 was consolised. The menus, UI and controls were made to work with a controller and not a mouse and keybord. TW1 was made solely for a mouse and keyboard, you can even play TW1 with just a mouse.

This is the same as what happened with DA2 compared to DA:O. But at least now with DA:I (also TW3) they are making the PC versions with the PC in mind. Making controls, combat and the UI work with a mouse and keyboard just as good as the console versions work well with a controller.

Once i got used to it i prefered W2, graphically it was awesome game play was ok, a but too linear and way to short lol.

But i get the point your getting at :)

I never had a problem with controls with mouse and keyboard. If its that bad just rebind the keys...
