Downloading Mobo and Gcard software. CD vs Website vs CD and Updateing?

Hi guys just a quick qns.
I have seen some pc video build guide saying they always download the latest drivers thru the manufacturer website.

Am just wondering wouldn't downloading from the CD than updateing the drivers be a better and safer choice in case u screw it up?

Always update from the website as they are the latest for your hardware and tend to have most of the bugs ironed out and maxamise performance, old drivers installed before updating can leave behind part drivers that can cause issues if not correctly uninstalled or updated, so always get the latest.

before I do an install I always grab the latest drivers from whichever manufacturer I'm using. As said installing old drivers then updating them isnt a good way to go about it. Put them on a thumb drive install opsys install drivers and then go from there.

So its best to just go st8 to the latest.
Thanks for the info.
Kinda frustrated about it
Coz I screw up installing the drivers twice and when I tried installing my gigabyte mobo and gcard drivers again kept getting network errors...

I always go to a different computer and download all the needed drivers onto a flsahdrive then after building/installing the OS i download all needed Windows Updates then install drivers. Never had an issue.

If I'm doing a new build I always go to the manufactures site and get the latest drivers and gfx card driver on my current pc put them in a folder on a different drive from the OS, once I know everything boots up I do a clean OS install to save any conflicts from the old motherboard drivers
