Since the office has gone quiet. Everyone bar support are working from home **cough** garden / pub **cough** !

We have been doing some retro gaming. Namely Soldier of Fortune, which i am getting my ass handed to me by my boss i might add.

I thought i'd bring in my old doom games for some lan action.

Turns out I bought the ID Anthology all those years ago. Alas been a smart child i threw away the presentation box / miniature / comic etc.

Even so the hard backed book which has the 4 disk in is worth over £70.

I never would have guessed i'd own a PC game that was a collectors item!

Task for the day........................... get doom 2 to run under Vista..........

They where legendary games, best games for the office is CS 1.6 or quake 3 arena, everyone loves em and they run on next to nothing hardware lol

PPC compiles of these for the Amiga were awesome

Quake runs well on a smartphone if u got enough capacity.

it'd be cool if i could get it running on my HTC Touch HD but i gues that could never happen :-(

U should be able to do it tbh. Just look for Doom for WindowsMobile.

Or Doom for S60, tried it. I was a bit crap with the touch screen (you have to hold the top of the screen to move forward, and tap the screen to shoot).

I have been trying it out on the HTC Touch HD but it is impossible to control.

Just fires if you touch the screen and you cant move easily.

Any ideas guys
